When authoring an assessment especially with a table in it, you need to see it as it will display
CompletedI find it quite tricky to create assessments with tables that look decent because when you create the assessment, you see it displayed differently from how the students will see it.
So you create it, then you save it, preview it and realise it looks weird or the students will have to scroll across to see it so then you have to edit it, save it, preview it and then go back and change it again and again.
It is super annoying and wastes a lot of time.
Here is what I see when authoring:
Here is what the preview/student view shows:
I've authored it so there is no need to scroll yet when I preview it there are still sizing issues which means the student has to scroll.
Please fix this, as it would save authors time, make the system nicer to use and also make the assessments look better.

Hey Pip,
We recently updated the width of the content area when undertaking an Online Assessment in the Learner Portal to match the effective width in Online Assessment Authoring. Hopefully, this should resolve the discrepancies between the appearance of the preview and what learners see.

Hi Pip,
Thanks for your feedback. I've confirmed that the width of the Learner view is a little bit smaller than that of the authoring area, resulting in cases like your example. I think we should be able to provide Learners with a bit of a wider content area on their side, bringing it in line with what authors have to work with and allowing for a better preview of content as you author.
I don't have an exact ETA on this improvement but it is a small change so we can likely get it into our 29th of June release. If not by then, not too long afterward.
