I have a student who would like to be called by her preferred name in all written communications. Over the years, I find this particular situation comes up where for several reasons they don't want to be referred to by their real legal name (Given Name) as much as possible.
In Courses > Classes (select class) > Communication > Email / SMS..
Seeing if it's possible to add in a tick box to allow the Preferred name to be used in the case that it is "not null". An info hover over could list that this could be used if the field has a value in it - otherwise GivenName will be used.
Additionally, the ability to insert (upload) an image would be great. Just like we can in this ideas forum post. (At the moment there is just Bold, Italic, numbered lists, bullet lists, text colour, source code and maximise).
PS. Love this Email/SMS feature of Axcelerate. Very simple and effective to use to get quick communications out to the relevant groups of students.
