Reviewing Students and Assessors
We're currently in the process of transitioning from another LMS to aXcelerate Turbo and we're wanting to set up a 'Review Process' of the assessments completed in the Learner Portal.
At the moment (in another LMS), because we have quite a few classes over QLD, we get our trainers to scan and upload the workbooks to an assessment that we've created for this purpose. Once uploaded, the trainer then results the unit as Competent. Before this outcome pushes to aXcelerate (through integration) it is set to 'Review'. This is where our Review Team conducts compliance checks on the assessments. If approved, it will then push to aXcelerate. If rejected, the unit will be unlocked and the system will automatically email the trainer. For our online users, we have it set so 10% of the assessments that our trainers mark as satisfactory go through the review process.
Until something more solid is developed, Our plan was to have an assessment for our trainers to upload the workbook to which they then mark as satisfactory. As we have 'Linked Learning Activity Updates Subject:' turned on, we were hoping to create another assessment that will prevent the unit from automatically becoming competent until the review team marks the second assessment as satisfactory.
How do other RTOs conduct compliance checks of the work that is being submitted by students and trainers in aXcelerate? Is there something similar to this that is being developed at the moment?

Good afternoon Mason,
Thank you for your submission to our Ideas Forum. This is a workflow problem that our product team have discussed and we believe we have a potential solution that could be implemented. In terms of progress, we have completed some preliminary designs, however, we have not scheduled any development work and therefore I cannot provide you with any timelines.
Perhaps somebody from our user community may offer you some suggestions on how they are managing the workflow.
Cheers,
Rod.
