Specify Access to Resources by User Role
Currently the resource library has the ability to create an advanced access level based on permissions. This is great, but I think there would also be benefit to create access permissions based on user roles (ie. a dropdown where you could select one or multiple user roles to access a document).
For example, a company may deliver qualifications from the business package, the ICT package, the health package, etc. They may not want trainers that deliver ICT units having access to units from the health package, for example.
So therefore you could create a Business Trainer user role, a Health Trainer user role and an ICT Trainer user role.
Does anyone think this would be a good option to help restrict how trainers are able to access resources?

As an RTO that also delivers a lot of qualifications, we would also find this useful.
We have had to create a few of our trainers using Administrator access due to features needed not being available to 'trainer' users. So being able to restrict access to certain documents in the resources library would be beneficial.
