Import trainer competencies into aXcelerate

We have implemented a human resources information system (HRIS) to better manage our trainers and their requirements. Something we would one day like to have is API capabilities occurring between our HRIS and aXcelerate, but that's not currently on the agenda.

What we were wondering though, is if it were possible to import trainer competency data. So instead of manually entering/updating trainer competency data into aXcelerate, we could export from our HRIS and import into aXcelerate. However this would need to be something that we could do ourselves, on say a weekly basis. This would not be like the importation of NAT files into aXcelerate where it's performed as a once-off.

Is this possible at all? And if this could be possible, what would aXcelerate need that data to look like to be able to import it?
