In short, a way for candidates to do this themselves through a "recover account" screen on the learner portal would be amazing:
Currently, it is not possible for a learner to create an account / log in to the learner portal if they already exist as a contact without a user account.
On a small scale an administrator could create a handful of users, but as soon as this becomes hundreds or thousands of accounts that need to be added to existing contacts it translates to an extreme number of phone calls / emails / 1 on 1 support.
It would be great if learners had the ability to recover their account in these instances, something similar to the "Forgot Password" form, where they could be asked to supply some identifying information & their email address to create a new user account and attach it to the existing contact in Axcelerate.
Recent improvements to the learner portal have positioned it as a feature we'd love to use, but one that would also create huge administrative burden.
