Timed Assessments

1. For assessments that are timed e.g. tests, it would be helpful if there was a timer at the top of the page that students can refer to so they know how long they have left to complete their assessment.

2. Once the schedule end time has been reached, if the student hasn't already finalised and submitted their assessment, it would be helpful if the system can force submission and exit the student from the assessment.

  Agreed! I think this would be fantastic as we also run timed assessments.

  Thank you for your suggestion!

  Please see the following excerpt from our release notes, for the release which went live last night:

  A time limit can now be set against Online Quiz (QTI) online assessments. This feature prevents students from adding any additional responses after the time limit has elapsed. The time limit is currently set against the assessment type and a task has been scheduled to be able to override the time limit at the assessment level in a future release.
