Remove free text ability in city/suburb field - pick list only.

It would be great if the city/suburb field was a picklist only. This would reduce the number of avetmiss errors due to data entry error by user. If the suburb is entered incorrectly, it generates an error.

  I second this, and believe it would really create a streamlined process and absolutely reduce the avetmiss errors.

  And a fairly standard option in most other SMS' these days - helpful if regularly updated against AusPost.

  Agree, this would be a great change - and yes, consistent with other SMS. This would be consistent with the ability to remove free text (replace with a drop down) for Financials (Inv,Cr,Rec,Ref) as per another Ideas Form posting.

  Agreed - reducing the number of free fields for any AVETMISS data where we have the ability to verify against something - I.e. a valid address, will reduce time for everyone.

  Agreed - many programs and apps now use the postcode / suburb look up (I think available through Australia Post?).  This saves errors in students or staff typing something slightly wrong and helps with data integrity
