We are now working with international students who require a certificate to be issued. They are exempt from requiring a USI. Currently aXcelerate will not allow you to issue a certificate without a verified USI.
Below is a solution suggested by aXcelerate to allow you the issue certificates to international students. It requires editing the RTO/VET settings.
Automatic Exemption from USI solution
In order to bypass aXcelerate's USI security features and issue certificates for these clients we have to edit the RTO/VET Settings, issue the certificate and then change the settings back. During this time there is the risk (albeit low risk) of someone issuing a certificate for a domestic student that does not have a USI.
NCVER Requirements for International students
International students who are exempt from needing a USI. When they are reported to NCVER, they use the following criteria to determine their USI exemption:
Request for improvement
Would it be possible for aXcelerate to identify that a client has met the above 3 criteria and if so, allow their certificate to be issued without having a USI?
