From a contact record, when you click the Icon to search other contacts from this organisation, it is not an Exact Search, and therefore brings up other organisations that I do not want to see. It would be better if this functionality was an EXACT SEARCH and therefore would only show contacts that are actually within that organisation, not other organisations with similar names. EG. We have 'Department of Finance' and 'Department of Finance NSW'. If I search for 'Department of Finance', I will get search results with contacts from both organisations.

  Do Microsoft rules on searches apply? If you put your search in quotes, will only exact matches result?
