Watermarks
The new Standards have reinforced the need for watermarks in Certificates and Statements of Attainment to prevent fraudulent copying. I am unable to add one using the editor and searches on "watermark" are blank. Anyone know how we can do it?

Hi Christopher,
A watermark effect can be achieved by adding a light coloured image to the certificate template, ensuring the "Background Image" option is selected to ensure it appears behind all text. Hope this helps.

We would like to have two different versions of the certificate, one with the watermark which can be emailed and another version without the watermark so that we can print it. If we generate the print version of the certificate for a student and then later down the track decide to email the student the email version, I think the email version will overwrite the print version saved against the students file. Is that right?
If so, is there a way of doing this (generating a different version of the certificate for email purposes) without overwriting the previous version of the certificate saved against the students enrolment?

Hi Calvin,
Currently only the most recent PDF will be stored against the enrolment record. In order to retain a separate version of the certificate PDF for printing, this could to be stored against a contact note, or as a portfolio item. Hopefully some other clients can chime in to share their ideas and/or show support for enhancements in this area.
