aXcelerate supports Stripe as an integrated payment gateway allowing you to leverage the Stripe platform to process payments throughout the system. Stripe offers a comprehensive payments dashboard as well as alternate payment options such as Afterpay, Google Pay and Apple Pay that can be configured through your Stripe Account. The integration is also supported in the latest version of our WordPress plugin.

Connect your Stripe Account
Web & Other Integrations
The Stripe Integration is configured from the Web & Other Integrations tab of your System Settings. Start by selecting Stripe as your Payment Gateway, and then clicking Connect with Stripe. From here you will be asked to login to Stripe and setup an account specifically for the aXcelerate integration. This will take you through the integrated Stripe Onboarding process and ask you to provide all of the necessary details to create and connect your account.
Tip: If you already have an existing Stripe account, you can log in and connect this account to aXcelerate without creating a new one.
Note: Once you have connected your Stripe account, you will also need to invite any other users to Stripe who need to access your account and manage your payments.
Manage Your Stripe Account
Once you have connected your Stripe account to aXcelerate, you will be able to log in to your account to manage your finances. This could include:
- Setting up account Information
- Configuring available payment options (e.g., Afterpay)
- Managing refunds and disputes
- Viewing payment information
- Managing payouts

How do I sign-up for a Stripe Account?
The easiest way to sign-up for a Stripe Account is by doing so directly through aXcelerate from the Web & Other Integrations tab of your system settings. You can also follow Stripe's documentation for more information on how to sign-up and then connect your account by following the steps in this article.
How do I add alternate payment options to my account like Afterpay and Google Pay?
Payment options are managed from within your Stripe account from the Payment Methods area of your Stripe dashboard. Some payment methods - like Google Pay - have specific conditions that need to be met for them to be available to users. Other options - like Apple Pay - require some configuration within Stripe before they will appear. Reach out to Stripe Support directly for any queries about payment options.
How do I manage payment disputes and refunds?

Am I able to use Stripe Subscriptions with aXcelerate?
At the moment, only one-time payments are supported within the integration. However, supporting Subscriptions (payment plans) through Stripe is an improvement that we plan to make to the integration in the future.
What are the fees involved in using Stripe for payments?
aXcelerate does not charge any additional transaction fees for usage of Stripe. The Stripe integration is available to all aXcelerate customers. You can reach out to Stripe regarding Pricing for their platform.
